The visibility setting for menus and pages defines who can see each menu or page on your website: everyone, only logged-in members, only administrators, or specific groups. This setting is for administrators who manage their nonprofit's website.

Where do I set the visibility of a menu or page?
Go to Website > Menus and pages.
How do I restrict the visibility of a menu or page?
Step 1. Click the icon for the relevant menu or page, then select Menu name and visibility for a menu, or Page name and visibility for a page.
Step 2. Click the intended audience to change the accessibility of the menu or page, then save your changes.
The menu or page is now visible only to the selected audience.
Note: If you restrict visibility to specific groups, the people concerned must be logged in to see those menus and pages. Learn more: Creating a member space (or intranet)
If I restrict a menu's visibility, what happens to the pages inside it?
The same visibility setting applies by default to all pages within the menu. To give a specific page a different visibility, change the setting directly on that page — it will override the setting inherited from the menu.
What visibility options are available?
- Open to everyone: accessible to anyone, even without being logged in (members and non-members);
- Community: accessible only to logged-in users (members);
- Administrators: accessible only to platform Administrators;
- Groups/Donors/Members: accessible to group members, donors (who have made at least one donation), or active members;
- Same setting as the menu: the page automatically inherits the visibility setting of the menu it belongs to.
What if a menu or page remains visible or hidden despite the correct setting?
If the behavior doesn't match the selected audience, contact Springly support.
Tip: Before reaching out to Springly support, test the setting in a private browsing window and ask an affected member to check how it appears from their own account.
