You can customize the confirmation page displayed after a purchase (membership, donation, event registration) and enable a cart system allowing a buyer to pay for multiple registrations in a single payment.
- How to enable purchase flow customization?
- How to customize the purchase flow once the option is enabled?
For other types of advanced settings, please refer to the Advanced Settings for Online Forms section.
Good to know: the information in this article applies to the different types of forms available in Springly (memberships, donations, ticketing, and online shop), which work in a similar way — only the terminology changes depending on the type (participants, members, or buyers).
How to enable purchase flow customization?
This setting is disabled by default. Once enabled, it is available for all your forms — you can choose whether or not to use it on each one.
- Go to Settings > Customization > Forms and ticketing.
- Open the advanced settings.
- Check Purchase flow customization.
The checkbox appears checked (green button): the option is now available in the Distribution tab of all your forms.
How to customize the purchase flow once the option is enabled?
Go to the Distribution tab of the relevant form to enter your redirect URLs.
In the Continue / Redirect after an order section, enter the URL (link, starting with https) of the page(s) you want to redirect users to:
Click Update after entering the URL(s). The redirects are saved and apply to the form immediately.
Which page is displayed after a purchase?
The buyer confirms their payment, lands on the confirmation page, then clicks Back to the website.
- If you enter a URL in Redirect page after a purchase, the button will direct to that page.
- If you leave it blank, the button will automatically redirect to your website's home page.
How to allow the buyer to add multiple registrations to their cart before paying?
The cart system allows multiple registrations (memberships, donations, tickets) to be grouped into a single payment rather than making several separate payments. An Add more items to my cart button appears before the payment confirmation.
- If you enter a URL in Redirect page for continuing orders, the button will direct to that page.
- If you leave it blank, the button will not appear at all.
