Springly is disabling the shopping cart in early January 2027, no later than January 8. The cart currently allows a buyer to move from one form to another and pay for everything in a single transaction. After that date, each form will result in a separate payment. The recommended solution is to consolidate your products into a single form. This article is intended for administrators who sell products, tickets, or memberships online.
A redesign of the shop remains a possibility in the future, but it is not on the current roadmap.

What changes with the end of the shopping cart?
Today, the Add other items to my cart button allows your buyers to fill out multiple forms (shop, event, membership) and then pay for everything at once. Starting in early January 2027, this flow will no longer exist.
- The Add other items to my cart button will no longer appear on forms.
- The Redirect page for continued orders field, under Distribution > Continuation / Redirect after an order, will no longer be active.
- Each form will be paid for separately by the buyer.
The Redirect page after a purchase field, which controls the Back to site button, remains available and works the same way.
Why is Springly discontinuing the shopping cart?
A necessary technical change
The cart, which groups multiple orders into a single payment, is not compatible with the rollout of the electronic invoicing tool on Springly.
- Electronic invoicing associates one invoice with each order.
- The cart groups multiple orders into a single payment.
A legacy feature, rarely used
- User feedback shows this feature has been difficult to use.
- Less than 0.1% of transactions on Springly use this module.
How to adapt your forms before January 2027?
Several situations may apply depending on how your forms are set up. Make these adjustments before early January 2027. Also check that your form descriptions no longer mention the shopping cart, so as not to mislead your buyers.
You have multiple forms, one per product
Consolidate your products into a single form, with one pricing option per product. To keep the layout easy to read, use pricing groups — for example, "Clothing" or "Accessories." Your buyers will then see a single sales page organized by category. Steps are outlined in the article How to manage pricing lists that are too long?.
You have created a pricing option per size, color, or variant
Replace variants with a single price accompanied by a free-text field, such as "Preferred size." Your price list becomes much shorter, and buyers specify their variant at the time of ordering.
You manage inventory with a large number of references
We recommend separating inventory management from sales:
- Sales are handled through a single form with a reduced number of prices.
- Inventory tracking remains available in Springly, outside of the sales form. The article Managing a product inventory covers this in detail.
This approach requires more regular monitoring on your part. In return, your buyers enjoy a simple purchasing experience — everything in a single order.
What are the benefits and limitations of these solutions?
- Benefit for administrators: all sales are tracked in a single form instead of several separate ones.
- Benefit for your members: no more switching between forms — everything happens in one place.
- Price limit: a sales form accepts a maximum of 60 prices.
- VAT limitation: if you sell products subject to different VAT rates, create one form per VAT rate. This is already how it works today.

FAQ: End of the Shopping Cart
Can my buyers still pay for multiple products at once?
Yes, as long as those products are in the same form. If products are spread across multiple forms, the buyer makes one payment per form.
Are already-paid orders affected?
No. Orders that have already been completed remain visible and unchanged. Only purchases made from early January 2027 onward follow the new flow.
Do I need to remove the URL from the Continue shopping redirect page field?
No, that is not necessary: the Continue shopping redirect page field is no longer used after the feature is disabled. You can, however, fill in the Redirect page after a purchase field, which remains active.
