To record an on-site registration made outside of online sign-up, add the participant manually from your ticketing management page, then complete their accounting record. This procedure is intended for administrators who sell tickets in person. People who register online are automatically added to the participant list and the revenue is recorded in the accounting.

How do I manually add a participant to my event?
- In the menu, go to Events, the page where you manage your ticketing.
- On the card for the desired event, click the Manage button.
- On the page listing the event's registrants, click the Add a registrant button.
- In the add form, search for the participant by typing the first three letters of their first name in the Link to a contact (optional) field.
- If the person is not one of your members, create their profile by clicking the Create a contact link in the form.
- Select the desired ticket type(s), then click Continue.
The participant payment recording step is displayed.
How do I record this participant's payment in the accounting?
- The price is calculated automatically based on the selected option(s).
- Enter the payment details: date, bank account, and payment method.
- For a check payment, enter the check details. You can find them later on the deposit slip generated from the accounting module (see the article Check Deposits).
Once confirmed, this information eliminates the need for manual re-entry in the accounting module.
If the person hasn't paid yet or is paying in installments, check the Deferred Payment box. Then add as many installments as planned payments.
Once the accounting information is entered, click the Save button. The registration is counted in and the summary table of all attendees is displayed.
You can track payment statuses in the Payment Status column of the registrants table.
Does a participant added to an event automatically become a member of my community?
No. Participants in an event or online shop are not automatically added to your community as members, unlike membership and donation forms.
What should I do if the participant can't be found or the addition fails?
If searching by first name returns no results right after creating the profile, wait a few moments, then refresh the page. If the member still doesn't appear, try the manual addition again. If the issue persists, contact Springly support.
