🌍 This feature is only available in the following countries: 🇫🇷 France, 🇺🇸 United States.
From the Accounting > Bank Transactions page, you can filter your transactions, understand their source, ignore them, add them manually, or delete them. This article explains how to use each of these features.
This article covers the following topics:
- How to filter bank transactions?
- What are the sources of bank transactions?
- How to ignore a bank transaction?
- How to add a bank transaction manually?
- How to delete a bank transaction?
How to filter bank transactions?
Several filters are available at the top of the page to refine the display:
- Period: limit the view to a date range;
- Amount: filter by amount range;
- Label: search by keyword in the transaction label.
The table displays the number of matching results as well as the total debits, credits, and balance for the selected period.
What are the sources of bank transactions?
Each transaction displays its source, visible in the dedicated column of the table. There are three:
- Linxo: transaction imported automatically via the open banking connection (bank aggregation);
- Import: transaction added via a CSV or OFX file;
- Manual: transaction created directly from the Accounting > Bank Transactions page.
How to ignore a bank transaction?
A transaction imported via Linxo appears as a duplicate when Linxo changes the identifier or label of an already-imported transaction. Automatic duplicate detection then fails, and you can ignore the transaction to exclude it from reconciliation.
To ignore a transaction:
- Open the Accounting > Bank Transactions page;
- Click the transaction to open the side panel;
- Click Ignore Transaction.
The transaction status changes to Ignored. It remains visible in the table for traceability purposes, but no longer appears in reconciliation views.
To restore the transaction to its normal status, open its side panel and click Restore Transaction.
💡 If the transaction was already reconciled, the reconciliation is automatically unlinked.
How do I add a bank transaction manually?
If a bank transaction does not appear in Springly, you can create it directly. This may happen, for example, when a transaction gets stuck on the Linxo side and is not synced.
To add a transaction:
- Open the Accounting > Bank Transactions page;
- Click Add in the upper right corner of the page;
- Fill in the date, label, and amount;
- Click Save.
The transaction appears with the source Manual and the reconciliation status No. It is immediately available for reconciliation.
How do I delete a bank transaction?
To delete a transaction:
- Open the Accounting > Bank Transactions page;
- Click the transaction to open the side panel;
- Click Delete.
The transaction is removed from the bank transactions table.
⚠️ A transaction imported via Linxo that is deleted will be automatically re-imported during the next sync. To permanently exclude a Linxo transaction from reconciliation, use the Ignore Transaction feature instead.
