How to publish an organization's articles on the main website

The administrator of a child organization (section, sub-organization) can publish its blog articles on the main organization's website.

Example: a multi-sport nonprofit where each sports section manages its own Springly organization can centralize all its news on a single website.

Two settings are required: allow the main website's blog page to receive this content, then publish the article from the organization by linking it to that page. This feature only applies to blog pages on the main website: other page types (home page, custom content page) can't receive articles from an organization.

Step 1: allow a blog page on the main website to receive articles from organizations

To allow a blog page on the main website to host articles from your child organizations:

1. Go to Website > Menus and Pages.
2. On the blog page in question, click the 3 dots to the right.
3. Click the gear icon Page name and visibility.
4. Check the Allow your organizations to publish content on this page option.
5. Click Save.

The main website's blog page can now host articles written by administrators of the main space as well as those of your child organizations.

Step 2: publish an organization's article on the main website

An organization set up with a Dedicated website has a separate, standalone site. An organization with a Dedicated website only publishes on its own blog pages, never on the main website.

1. From the organization, write a blog article as usual.
2. In the Parent site page(s) section, select the main website's blog page you allowed in step 1.
3. Publish the article.

The article then appears both on the organization's blog and on the selected blog page of the main website.

Cases not covered by publishing from an organization

• The target page isn't a blog page (home page, custom content page): only blog pages can receive content from an organization.
• The organization is set up with a Dedicated website: to centralize publishing on the main website, first change the group's site type in Website > Website type and choose Space within the site.
