Address not found in Google Maps

When the address you enter in Springly (contact, nonprofit, event) does not appear in Google Maps suggestions, you can still use it: simply enter it manually. The address is then saved as-is, without a Google Maps match.

What should I do if my address is not found in Google Maps?

You have two options.

• Click Delete the address and enter a new one.

• Click or enter the address details manually and fill in the fields. The address is saved as-is, without a Google Maps match.

How does address verification via Google Maps work?

Springly uses a Google Maps integration to streamline address entry and improve data accuracy across all postal address fields:

• Contact addresses, entered by you or by contacts themselves via a form.
• Your nonprofit's address (from Settings > Your nonprofit and Settings > Tax Receipts and invoices).
• Addresses on your event forms (from Forms > Events).
• Your nonprofit's official address entered when creating your E-wallet.

The system checks whether the address you entered is listed in Google Maps. If it is, it will be suggested to you, as shown below. When an address is entered manually (for example, during a file import), the system runs the same search to establish a map match.

Can I add my address to Google Maps myself?

Yes. You can submit your address or a location through the dedicated Google Maps space. The addition is not automatic: it must be validated by Google, and Springly has no control over this validation.
