The Springly e-wallet, which allows you to collect online payments, is available to organizations located outside of France in specific situations. This article outlines the conditions for opening an e-wallet for an international organization and the accepted currency.
When is online payment with Springly available internationally?
Opening and using an e-wallet for business purposes is possible if all of the following conditions are met:
- the organization's Legal Representative is an adult individual with legal capacity and holds a valid government-issued ID (national identity card, passport, or residence permit);
- the organization is based in one of the European Union (EU) member states or in a country of the European Economic Area (EEA);
- the organization or individual holds a bank account opened with a credit institution located in the EU or EEA;
- where applicable, that bank account is linked to a payment card that supports fund transfers and is equipped with 3D Secure;
- the organization's e-wallet is verified.
Online transactions are denominated and processed exclusively in euros.
If your organization is not based in the EU or EEA, contact the Springly support team to find out whether opening an e-wallet may still be possible.
