How do I access the domain name management panel?
From your admin dashboard, go to Website > Settings and theme > Domain Name.
On the page that appears, select I don't own a domain name. The domain name search form will open.
How do I get a new domain name?
From the Website > Settings and theme > Domain Name panel, after selecting I don't own a domain name:
- Enter the domain name you want (example: mynonprofit.org).
- Click Check domain availability to verify that it is valid and available.
If the domain name is already taken, Springly cannot purchase it for you: try a different extension (.org, .com, .info, .net) or a variation of the name (mynonprofit.org, my-nonprofit.org). When the domain is available, a confirmation message will appear and you can confirm your order.
Good to know: Domain extensions follow specific rules and cannot be chosen arbitrarily. They depend on your geographic region or area of activity. Common international extensions include .com (for commercial activities), .net (for businesses), and .org (for nonprofits or non-governmental organizations). What are the limitations of Springly's domain name service?
- Springly does not provide email addresses linked to your domain (e.g., contact@mynonprofit.org).
- Springly does not provide an FTP server.
- Springly does not provide specific redirects between pages.

How long does it take to activate my domain name?
Once your order is confirmed, Springly handles the purchase and setup within 72 business hours. Your domain name will then be active on your website.
What is Gandi and what role does it play in domain name management?
Gandi is the registrar (technical provider) partnered with Springly for purchasing and managing domain names. Once your request is confirmed, Gandi will send you a confirmation email — follow its instructions to finalize the activation of your domain name.
What happens if I cancel my Springly subscription?
Springly does not retain management of your domain name after your subscription is canceled.
