How do I enable the Calendar app?
- Go to Settings > Feature Selection (at the bottom of the left sidebar).
- Enable the Calendar feature if it isn't already active.
Once the feature is enabled, you can access the Calendar from Website > Calendar, in the "Smart pages" section.
How do I set up event categories in my Calendar?
- Go to Website > Calendar.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Create your event categories by assigning each one a name and a color — they will then be suggested when creating each event.
- Click Confirm, then Save.
Your categories then appear with their color in the Settings tab and in the Calendar displayed on your website.
How do I display memberships and ticketing created in Springly on my Calendar?
The Calendar automatically displays the dates from your membership forms and ticketing created in Springly. Still from the Settings tab, under the "Other" section, check or uncheck the options according to your preference and set the color for these events. Once saved, these dates appear in your website Calendar with the chosen color.
💡 Good to know: even if the option is checked for the general case, you will be able to decide on each form whether to display it in the calendar or not.
What are the current limitations of the calendar?
- It is not possible to sync your Springly calendar with an external calendar (e.g. Google Calendar), or to import external events or calendars.
- It is not possible to sync a chapter's calendar with the main nonprofit's calendar.
