Only the nonprofit using Springly to manage its operations can process your refund. Reach out to them directly using the contact details in the purchase confirmation email you received, or on the nonprofit's website.
You purchased a ticket to an Event, a product from an Online Shop, or a Membership from a nonprofit that uses Springly. Here's how to request a refund depending on your payment method.
I paid online by credit or debit card
I paid the full amount in one payment
- Springly platform administrators can process your refund directly online.
- The refund is returned to the card used at the time of purchase.
The refunded amount will appear in your bank account within a few days.
I paid in installments
Installment payment lets you pay for a purchase by credit or debit card across multiple payments. The first installment is charged at the time of purchase; subsequent installments have not yet been collected.
- Ask the nonprofit to pause any upcoming installments.
- Refunds for amounts already charged are handled offline (cash, wire transfer, or check), directly with the nonprofit.
Once the installments are paused, no further charges will appear on your account.
I left a Tip to Springly
Some nonprofits enable the Tip option to help cover online payment costs. A tip for Springly may be suggested at the time of card payment.
Tips left to Springly are never refundable, even when the original purchase is refunded.
Example: for a $100 Membership with a $2 Tip — $102 paid in total — a refund of the Membership returns $100 to you. The $2 Tip remains with Springly.
I didn't pay by card — how do I get a refund?
If your purchase was paid offline (check, cash, wire transfer, etc.), your refund will also be handled offline, directly with the nonprofit. Contact them to arrange next steps.
