How to Add Pre-Configured Elements to a Custom Page?

A custom page on your Springly website can display elements already created in Springly — forms (membership, donation, event, shop), photo galleries, or blog article pages — without having to recreate them. This article is intended for administrators managing their nonprofit's website.

Before embedding these elements, the custom page must already exist. See the article Create a custom page on your Springly website if needed.

You can access your custom pages from Website > Menus and pages. Find the page you want, click the "…" to the right of that page, then click Edit page.

How to embed a donation form or an event on a custom page?

Donation Block

1. Make sure you have a published and live donation campaign in Forms > Donations
2. Drag the Donation block onto the grid, then select the campaign to display on your page
3. Resize the block if needed
4. Save the page

The donation campaign is now displayed on your custom page.

If you added an image to your donation form, it will appear here as well.

Event Block

1. Make sure you have a published and live event in Forms > Events
2. Drag the Event block onto the grid, then select the event to display on your page
3. Resize the block if needed
4. Save the page

The event is now displayed on your custom page.

How to embed a membership form or a shop on a custom page?

There is no dedicated block for membership forms or the shop. You can still add them to a custom page using an iframe block, as long as they have been published and are live online.

1. Retrieve the iframe code snippet from the Broadcast tab of your form
   
2. Drag the "iframe" block onto the grid where you want it
   
3. Paste the iframe code into the "Code line to use" field
4. Save
   
5. Resize the block as needed

The form now appears on your custom page.

Each time you save a custom page, a new version is created. Springly keeps the last five versions of the page, so you can restore a previous version at any time.

How do I embed smart page content (galleries, articles) on a custom page?

Smart pages (blog pages, photo galleries, calendar, polls, directory pages) are elements that hold content. That content can then be displayed in multiple places on your website:

• On a dedicated page of the corresponding type (article, gallery, etc.) that you create in Website > Menus & Pages
• On a custom page — which is what this section covers

Before displaying content on a custom page, that content must first be created in a smart page (blog article, photo gallery, etc.).

Gallery Block

The Gallery block appears on a custom page only if at least one gallery has already been created and the Gallery feature is enabled.

The Gallery block will only display on a custom page if at least 1 gallery has already been created AND the Gallery feature is enabled.

1. Go to the editor for the custom page you want to update
2. Drag the Gallery block onto the grid. Images will load and start scrolling
3. Resize the block if needed
4. Save the page

The photo gallery now appears on your custom page.

For the gallery to be visible on the custom page, the gallery-type page hosting it must be published online. Otherwise, visitors will not see the gallery.

Blog Articles Block

The Articles block appears on a custom page only if at least one article has already been created and the Articles feature is enabled.

1. Go to the editor of the desired custom page
2. Drag the Articles block onto the grid
3. Resize the block if needed: the number of articles displayed depends on the block size
4. Save the page

The articles now appear on your custom page.

For articles to be visible on the custom page, the blog page that hosts them must be published online. Otherwise, visitors will not see the articles.

How can I customize block display?

For each block, you can:

• Resize the height and/or width of the block;
• Add a border and choose its color and width;
• Round the corners;
• Adjust the outer margins;
• Duplicate the block;
• Delete the block;
• Choose a background.
