Springly automatically generates the minutes of your general assembly (GA) using artificial intelligence (AI): you enter the key elements of the meeting (resolutions, discussions, votes) and the platform drafts the document, which you can then edit and download. General assemblies are a key moment in the life of a nonprofit, as they formalize the structural decisions of your organization: minutes must be drafted for each GA to keep a written record of what was said and decided.

Generate your general assembly minutes using artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence is well known for its ability to reformulate content.
The idea: you provide the key elements of your GA (resolutions, discussions, votes), and we automatically generate your meeting minutes.
You can of course edit them if needed, but 95% of the work is already done! This will save you valuable hours that you can dedicate to other tasks that matter more to your nonprofit.
In practice, it happens in 5 steps:
- Verify your nonprofit's information: name, address, etc.;
- Enter your general assembly details: date, quorum, roles;
- Add the resolutions on the agenda and fill them in;
- The minutes are generated automatically;
- Edit them if needed, then download them!
Where to generate general assembly minutes in Springly?
- Go to the Home page of your platform;
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "General Assembly Minutes" tile;
- The steps for generating the minutes are displayed. Click Next to get started.
The first step of the minutes generation form is displayed.
How to generate general assembly minutes in Springly?
Step 1 - The nonprofit
The information displayed at this step is the same as what was entered in Settings > Your nonprofit. Verify that it is still accurate or update it as needed, then click Next.
Step 2 - The general assembly
Enter the date and the attendees of the General Assembly.
You must enter the president and the secretary.
Both people must already be registered in your Community. If they are not, create their profile in Community > Contacts. For more information, see our dedicated article: Adding a Person to Your Community.
Step 3 - Resolutions
General meetings typically include standard resolutions, such as a budget vote. We've identified these common resolutions and made them available for you to select. Feel free to check or uncheck them based on your meeting's agenda.
You can add other resolutions specific to your meeting by clicking the "Add a resolution" button (below the list of existing resolutions).
For each resolution, enter the key points from the presentation of the topic, along with any discussion that followed. Then indicate the result of the vote.
You can enter this information as bullet points — our tool will take care of the rest!
Once all resolutions have been filled in, click Generate minutes at the bottom of the page. The minutes are generated automatically — this usually takes less than a minute.
A new page opens with the document generated automatically from your responses. You can edit the document directly to adjust it as needed, and of course download it using the "Download minutes" button at the bottom of the page.
This feature is brand new and has plenty of room to grow. You're welcome to share your feedback on the last page — don't hesitate!
Happy meetings!
