What shipping methods can I offer?
The product sales form offers two methods:
- Pickup at an address: the buyer picks up their order at an address you specify (e.g., the nonprofit's headquarters, a pickup point), with the option to add notes (hours, contact information).
- Delivery to an address: the buyer enters the address where the order should be sent.
Each method has its own price and is configured independently.
How do I create a shipping option for my product sales?
- Open the relevant product sales form via Forms > Online Shop.
- Go to the form editor, then to step "3. Shipping Options"
- Click Create shipping options or New
- Enter the label, the shipping type (pickup or delivery), and the associated price (can be free)
- Optional — click More options to configure advanced thresholds (see the next section).
- Save, then repeat to add additional methods as needed.
What advanced options can I configure per method?
From More options, you can automatically apply a shipping method:
- Apply the method only above or below a given order amount.
- Apply the method only above or below a given number of products ordered.
These thresholds let you, for example, reserve free pickup for small orders and offer paid shipping beyond a certain point.
How do I track a shipment's status?
From a transaction's detail view, you can:
- View the shipping method chosen by the buyer.
- Check the delivery address entered (if applicable).
- Update the delivery status: To ship, Shipped, or Delivered.
How are shipping fees recorded in accounting?
Shipping fees are automatically recorded under account 706 000. It is currently not possible to change this accounting setting.
Account 706 000 is fairly standard. If it doesn't align with your chart of accounts, you can post a manual entry using advanced bookkeeping to reassign the accounting category. See this article if needed: Creating an advanced bookkeeping entry.
What are the limitations of this feature?
- It is not possible to offer a selection of pre-identified pickup points. However, the buyer can enter the shipping address of their choice, which works in most cases.
- We do not have an integration with an external carrier (automatic shipping labels, real-time tracking through a provider).
