Online payment on Springly is based on third-party collection: funds from your memberships, donations, ticketing, and online shop pass through a licensed e-wallet before reaching your bank account. This process doesn't change anything about how you manage your day-to-day finances.

How does online payment work?
- Funds don't flow directly from a member's or donor's account to your nonprofit's account — they pass through an e-wallet: your nonprofit's electronic wallet.
- The e-wallet is managed by a Payment Service Provider (PSP) licensed by a banking authority. To collect payments online through Springly, you create an e-wallet directly on your Springly platform, which integrates the PSP Adyen's solution.
- In practice, using online payment has no impact on how you work: you have access to your funds just as you would with a traditional bank.
Do I still need a traditional bank account?
- Yes, you can and should continue using your traditional bank account — it's actually recommended.
- Your e-wallet receives payments from your forms: memberships, donations, ticketing, and online shop.
- Whenever you're ready, you can request a transfer of those funds from your e-wallet to your bank account in just a few seconds.
- Your e-wallet must be verified before you can transfer funds to your traditional bank account.
Why do I need to verify my e-wallet?
- E-wallet verification is a legal requirement: it helps prevent fraud and money laundering, and protects you from identity theft.
- Compared to opening an account at a traditional bank, the process is simpler: it's done 100% online in just a few minutes.
Who verifies my e-wallet?
It's not Springly but our partner Adyen, a Payment Service Provider (PSP), that verifies your e-wallet.
