How to enable the Attendance Sheet feature
Before you can use Attendance Sheets, the feature must be enabled. Make sure Attendance Sheets are turned on in your platform's Settings.
Go to: Settings > Feature Selection > (Community >) Attendance Sheet.
Please note: only a main administrator can enable a feature.
The feature will then appear in your Community menu.
Your group's Attendance Sheet isn't showing up? One extra step is needed to enable it: how to enable the Attendance Sheet for a specific group.
How to enable the Attendance Sheet for a specific group
Go to Community > Groups, then click the "…" on the relevant group by hovering over it. Then click "Access settings" for that group.
On the group configuration page, enable the Attendance Sheet toggle (set it to ON) then click Save.
The Attendance Sheet will then appear in the corresponding Community menu.
When creating or configuring a group, you can enable the Attendance Sheet. However, it will not appear if the feature itself is not enabled. Refer to: How to enable the Attendance Sheet feature if needed.

On each sheet, enter the date (required) and then check off the members present from the group's member list. You can also do this from your smartphone.
You can also print a paper copy if you don't have access to a computer or mobile device when filling out the attendance sheet.
Who can use attendance sheets?
Main administrators, Community administrators, and group administrators can use attendance sheets. Group administrators will only have access to the groups they administer.

What are the limitations of attendance sheets?
Can I export the names of attendees?
It is not possible to export the names of attendees for a given sheet.
However, you can click Printable example to download a printable template listing the group's members, which you can fill out manually by checking off the names of those present.
Can I track one person's attendance across multiple periods?
It is not possible to generate an attendance sheet by individual, for example to track a member's attendance and absences across multiple dates.
If this tracking is essential for you, one possible workaround is to add this information as a custom field on the profile record (for example, one field per date or period tracked). In that case, only administrators with community access rights will be able to edit and view this information.
